The Oura Ring almost never goes on sale, but today is different. While there's unfortunately no across-the-board discount for all of Oura's rings, you can get some of the "Horizon" styles for up to for $100 less than what they would normally cost.
What the Oura Ring will cost you
Whenever you talk about the cost of the Oura Ring, it's important to note that there is also a $5.99/month subscription fee. It wasn't always this way—a few years back, Oura introduced the subscription while offering longtime members a lifetime subscription if they upgraded at that time. If you're curious about how the long-term investment of a ring with subscription compares to, say, a Whoop band, I break down the costs here.
A wearable I actually like to wear
Oura is one of the few wearables I actually enjoy wearing, mostly because a ring is easy to ignore. I do take it off when I lift weights (it's not great at activity tracking, anyway), but I use the numbers it reports to better understand how much sleep I'm getting and how my body is responding to stress.
As I noted, today's sales are on the "Horizon" style, which is round throughout. (The "Heritage," by contrast, has a flat area on top of the ring. Oura also used to sell a pointed model called the "Balance," which is sadly discontinued.) The cheaper finishes are $282 today, down from $349. The gold and rose gold finishes are both about $100 off their usual price.
The Horizon usually costs about $50 more than its Heritage counterparts. Normally, the cheapest version of the ring is a Heritage in silver or black—usually $299. With today's deals, you can get a Horizon for slightly less. As with any prime day deals on things that come in sizes, check the specific size you want to be sure the deal price is still available.
