Michelle Ehrhardt is Lifehacker's Associate Tech Editor. She has a bachelor's degree in history from Earlham College, where she also double majored in theatre. She also holds an MFA in game design from NYU. Michelle's career as a journalist began at Out Magazine, where she covered games, music, film, and politics with an eye towards the LGBT perspective.

Michelle is a member of the New York Video Games Critics Circle, where she sits on the Game Journalism Award committee. She has participated in panels and workshops at New York's DreamYard Program and has hosted both the Tom's Hardware Show and the Gadgettes podcast.

Her work has been featured in outlets including Paste, The Atlantic, Tom's Hardware, Gizmodo, and The Advocate. Some of her favorite pieces include her annual CES recaps, her video game reviews, and her interviews with hardware makers and independent video game developers.
