Prime Day is a great time to fill out the gaps in your home gym or grab a few nice things for your gym bag. Here are some of the best Prime Day deals on fitness equipment, from excellent deals on adjustable dumbbells to kettlebells and treadmills.

Powerblock adjustable dumbbells

Powerblocks are pricey but beloved dumbbells for anyone who wants a small gym but is tight on space. And good news: At least seven different models are on sale for Prime Day at steep discounts.

For example, the Powerblock Elite EXP set, which goes from five to 50 pounds ("stage 1"), is normally $449/pair but today is down to $287.98. The smaller Sport 24 set, which goes from three to 24 pounds, is also on sale, $159.99 down from $239. Even the Powerblock 100s (yep, they go up to 100 pounds), normally $549 for a single, are down to $439 each.

Gym bags and water bottle holders

Everybody needs a good gym bag, and my all-time favorite, the Adidas Defender in Small, is 30% off today. This year, in addition to duffels, I've been looking at water bottle holders, too. These are essentially mini gym bags, so you can carry your water bottle, phone, and other small items around the gym floor with you. Some are even magnetic so you can stick them to a squat rack or machine.

Kettlebells, plates, and other weights

Enjoy picking up heavy things? Today you can pick up some heavy things at a discount. I found a smattering of deals across these different products—sometimes one weight will be on sale (say, the 10-kilogram kettlebell in a set) with different or no deals on other weights. The products below all had steep discounts as of the time of writing, but poke around on the product page if you're looking for a different size. A lot of the weight plates can be had today under $1/lb, which is really excellent pricing.

By the way—while I may pretend to love all my deals equally, like my children, the truth is that $16 for a 10-pound full-size bumper plate is an absolute steal. If you do any Olympic lifting, or if you have kids who might someday lift, grab a pair of these. Lightweight bumpers are incredibly useful and the cheap ones are always out of stock when you need them.

Treadmills

Today's Prime Day offerings on treadmills include a few NordicTrack T series machines, which are solid entry-level picks. (The Commercial series is, sadly, not on sale at the moment.) We also have some walking pads, although Amazon's search results are full of no-name brands with fake sales (hint: $169 down from $1,999.99 list price is pretty much always going to be an item that was $169 all along). My picks below are all products that are actually on sale—I checked the price histories.

More adjustable dumbbells

If Powerblocks are overkill for your needs, these other adjustable dumbbells are also on sale today. Aside from NordicTrack, they're mostly lesser-known brands, but all of them are suitable for home exercises and would be a great deal if you want to save some space and add some more options to your home gym. Note that some come in singles and some in pairs, so keep that in mind when comparing prices.

Cool-looking adjustable dumbbells

While I was scanning product listings for the deepest discounts and most useful-looking dumbbells, some of these fancier-looking ones kept catching my eye. Most are lighter than the dumbbells above and only have a few adjustment options, so they aren't going to be as useful for as many people.

That said, while most of your strength training should probably use weights that are heavy (whatever "heavy" happens to be for you), there are also plenty of uses for lighter dumbbells. These lighter ones can be great for beginners, and as long as you're getting excited about your new workout routine, why not buy a pair that looks cool? These are some adjustable dumbbell sets that look nifty, adjust to multiple weights, and happen to be discounted today. All of these are sold as pairs, but sometimes the weight is given as the total weight for the set (so, "40 pounds" may mean two 20-pound dumbbells.)
