DoubleTwist Adds Podcasting to Its Device Syncing Powers

Windows: doubleTwist makes for a convenient way of syncing your smartphone, camera, and other USB-plug-able gadgets, especially if you're not using Apple products. Now doubleTwist does a great job of finding and monitoring podcasts, and sending them where you want to listen.

For Android users, especially, doubleTwist's growth into areas like podcast management is welcome news, as the desktop media manager has become what many call an "iTunes for Android"—and we tend to agree. For anyone with any kind of MP3 player, though, doubleTwist can be helpful in locating and grabbing podcasts. Its catalog spans a large number of open and free directories, and it intends to open its podcast search API to other apps in the future.

The latest doubleTwist is a free download for Windows; the developers promise podcast support is coming soon to the Mac release. Tell us how doubleTwist compares to your own favorite podcast management tool in the comments.
