It can be challenging to sift through thousands of Prime Day deals—how do you know if you're getting a good deal or being duped into thinking you are? As a tech shopping writer, I try to make that process easier for you by using tools to price check deals and recommend products that are worth your money (here are my favorites for Prime Day). After doing that work, I can tell you that all of the following tech products have the best deal they've ever gotten on Amazon since their release.
The Echo Show 8 is $85
As I covered for early Prime Day deals, the Echo Show 8 is down to its lowest price yet of $84.99 (originally $149.99). This is a great opportunity to get a smart-screen device in your kitchen to help you with cooking videos thanks to its hands-free Alexa features, or to have a bedside companion to wake you up with the news or help you wind down at night with some music or media (you shouldn't really be watching screens before bed, though).
This 40-inch smart TV is $170
The Amazon Fire TV 2-Series, currently $169.99 (originally $249.99) is Amazon's budget TV, and it's cheap. It's not 4K, only reaching 1080p high definition, but for the price, that's expected. It also has the Fire TV operating system, meaning you get to download your favorite streaming apps or install Kodi to stream anything for free.
If you already have a TV, you can just make it smart with the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max for $34.99 (originally $59.99). Obviously, you'd want a 4K to be to do this (but you don't need one to use it). If you have Wi-Fi 6 at home plus 4K, consider the hands-free Amazon Fire TV Cube for $99.99 (originally $139.99).
The Amazon Kindle Scribe is over $100 off
The 16 GB Amazon Kindle Scribe is $234.99 (originally $339.99), which is the lowest price it has ever been. The Scribe is great for people who like reading on Kindles but also like to use their hands to doodle, take notes, or just write. It's a great opportunity for Kindle lovers who have been waiting to snag one.
If you rather use a Kindle tablet to surf the web or watch your favorite shows, Amazon's largest tablet, the Amazon Fire Max 11 is $139.99 (originally $229.99).
The Amazon eero Max 7 mesh wifi router bundle starts at $450
If you're frustrated with your wifi situation and are looking for what's the best technology available to the public at the moment, consider the Amazon Eero Max 7 mesh wifi router starting at $449.99 (originally $599.99). The three-pack with a router and two points is $1,299.99 (originally $1,699.99). Mesh wifi can do wonders if your current situation isn't optimal—just make sure your devices are the problem, and not something else. You can read more about the Eero Max 7 in PCMag's review.
Blink and Ring cameras are up to 62% off
Blink and Ring are both owned by Amazon, so of course they'll be getting hefty discounts right now. The Blink Mini 2 just came out this year, and it's both an indoor and outdoor camera. You can get it now for just $19.99 (originally $39.99). If you know you'll just be using your cameras outdoors, then get the Blink Outdoor 4. Currently, the three-pack is seeing an impressive 62% discount, bringing it down to $99.99 (originally $259.99), the regular price of just a single one.
If you're in need of a floodlight camera, Ring has the Ring Floodlight Camera Plus and Ring Stick Up Camera bundle for $159.99 (originally $299.98). So you can have an outdoor and an indoor camera for your home. If you're not sure which of the two brands to commit to, read our breakdown of the doorbell cameras here.
